Integrity in sport ensures that athletes, officials, volunteers, supporters and fans can participate and celebrate sport, confident in the knowledge that they are part of a safe, fair and inclusive environment.

Handball Queensland adopts the Sport Integrity Policies of Handball Australia developed in collaboration with Sport Integrity Australia ,  the national agency established to protect sport against threats.

In Queensland the broader system for promoting a child safe sporting environment is Queensland's Working With Children Check (Blue Card).  Employees and volunteers of Handball Queensland may require a Blue Card subject to their level of participation in the delivery of the sporting programs to under age children.
